OEM mechanical-component enquiries cover ductile iron, steel, aluminum or stainless steel using selected investment or sand casting. Heat treatment and CNC machining can be defined for the required part. Specify the complete alloy and material condition, with geometry and supplied state governed by the customer drawing.
Define the dimensions that make the component fit
Show locating faces, mounting details and mating geometry with the datum system used for acceptance. Distinguish dimensions accepted on the casting from those requiring final work. Assign the heat-treated condition and machining requirements to the selected material and delivered stage.
Identify the key-size inspection scope
Quality control combines random checks during production with 100% checks of key dimensions. Mark those dimensions and their acceptance limits explicitly in the component brief. Agree the actual records needed for material, geometry and surface approval, including any additional checks requested by the design.
Coordinate finishing and design data
Painting, powder coating or customer-requested treatment can be specified. Mark coverage and contact-surface requirements alongside dimensions affected by the delivered finish. Drawing information can be supplied as 2D PDF or CAD and 3D IGES or STEP, with consistent revisions across the files.
Complete the order basis
The minimum-order reference is 100, with unit and order scope to be agreed. Bubble-bag, carton and wooden-crate packing are listed. Define protection needed for finished interfaces and the approval sample’s role, keeping the production requirement connected to the selected alloy, controlled drawing and supplied condition.
