Carbon-, alloy- or heat-resistant-steel components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand or lost-wax investment casting. High-speed-train applications are included as component enquiries. Choose the complete grade and compatible route around the actual drawing and required material condition.

Define the high-temperature service requirement

Specify the temperature, atmosphere and loading conditions for the intended duty. Connect those requirements to the selected steel and supplied state. Identify the actual component and interfaces rather than treating the heat-resistant description as a numerical service rating.

Set train or other component geometry

Show mounting, locating and mating relationships within the selected assembly. Mark the functional limits and references governing installation or working fit. Define measurement conditions where several relationships are evaluated together for approval of the precision requirement.

Specify color and final surfaces

Color follows customer requirements. Identify visible areas, required appearance and the final condition at working contacts. Distinguish cast-state regions from surfaces needing another supplied result, with compatible processing requested for the chosen substrate.

  • Wooden packing is named for the component supply.
  • State the steel part’s quantity and controlling design revision.
  • Identify material, dimensional and surface approval records.
  • Request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and activity scope.

Explain what an initial casting must demonstrate against its actual service and mating arrangement. Retain accepted grade, heat-duty and interface decisions within the component definition used for repeat supply.
