Gray- or ductile-iron valve parts and flywheel components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand casting with CNC-lathe and milling-center work. Mold supply is also named. Select the complete iron grade and define the actual valve or flywheel item and required supplied state.

Separate the casting and machining requirements

Casting tolerance is referenced at CT4–CT9. Machining carries ±0.005 mm and an ISO2768-mk reference, with the applicable document, features and supplied stage to agree. Mark datums and measurement conditions for the valve or flywheel interfaces governing the selected assembly fit.

Choose treatment for the selected iron

Annealing and quenching/tempering require the actual grade and final condition to be defined. ADI treatment belongs to an appropriate ductile-iron request. Zinc plating, painting and powder coating need coverage, masking and contact requirements for the selected substrate.

Set quality-planning and approval scope

References include PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, control plan and MSA. Define the documents and activities applicable to the component rather than treating the planning terms as universal product approval. Industrial-machinery, automotive and electricity-related requests require their actual duty and acceptance criteria.

  • State the valve or flywheel quantity and controlling revision.
  • Show mating geometry and any jointly assessed interface relationships.
  • Identify material, dimensional and surface records for approval.
  • Retain accepted mold, grade and processing changes with the component.

Confirm subsequent supply against the selected item’s approved geometry and treatment condition.
