Custom gray- or ductile-iron valve bodies can be requested with machining and selected surface work. Motor housings and other machinery, agricultural or farming components are separate enquiry-defined items. OEM/ODM supply should identify the actual part, complete grade and required delivered condition.

Select the grade and functional geometry

Grade references include GG20, GG25, GG30, HT150 and HT200 for gray-iron requests, and GGG50, QT450-10, QT500-7 and QT600-3 for ductile-iron selections. Identify the governing document and material condition. Show valve or housing connections and the interfaces controlling its assembly fit.

Set machined and surface acceptance

Assign the 0.01 mm reference to the selected body or housing dimensions, limits and supplied stage. Sandblasting, mill finishing, primer and anti-rust oil are named requests. Define coverage, contact condition and required appearance around the actual substrate and functional areas.

Define NDT and the other inspection scope

Inspection references include dimensions, heat-treatment condition, hardness, NDT and surfaces. Agree methods, examination areas and acceptance records. Identify the selected valve or housing areas covered by each examination. State any pressure or leak-test requirements separately within the actual valve-component brief.

  • Files include STEP, STP, IGS, DXF, DWG, PDF and JPG.
  • Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
  • Explain what an initial item must demonstrate.
  • Retain approved material, geometry and finish changes with the drawing.

Keep acceptance connected to the selected valve body, motor housing or other component and its final supplied state.
