Gray-iron reducer, gearbox, compressor and pump casings can be requested through green-sand or resin-sand casting. OEM/ODM supply includes optional machining and polishing for the actual housing. Select the complete grade, molding route and material condition around the chosen machinery design.
Show the casing in its working assembly
Identify the mounting, locating and mating relationships with surrounding components. Describe the operating duty relevant to the selected casing type. Mark the geometry and references that establish the housing’s installed position and required functional fit.
Separate cast form from finished contacts
Define the interfaces requiring further machining and distinguish them from regions accepted in the cast state. Put dimensional limits and measurement conditions on the relevant drawing areas. Specify any relationships assessed together when approving the final component against its mating equipment.
Set the polished supplied condition
Identify faces receiving polishing and the final contact or appearance result required there. Define coverage and criteria for visible or working areas. Keep the selected surface requirement connected to the actual iron condition and component-acceptance stage.
