Iron, steel and stainless-steel components can be requested through OEM/ODM lost-wax investment or sand casting. Define the complete material designation, including any carbon-steel requirement, for the actual part. The customer’s 3D drawing establishes the geometry and supplied condition to be discussed.
Define the CNC finishing result
Mark the interfaces requiring CNC finishing and the dimensional relationships they must establish. Identify reference surfaces, permitted limits and the stage at which the result will be measured. Distinguish those interfaces from regions accepted in their cast condition, keeping the chosen operations connected to the component’s assembly role.
Set electroplating coverage on the selected metal
Specify the required plating system and the surfaces to receive it on the actual substrate. Describe the contact or appearance result needed after treatment. Identify masking or protection requirements where the finished layer affects functional dimensions or installation.
