OEM/ODM machinery-component enquiries cover sand cast parts in stainless steel, aluminum, brass or copper. Dimensions and tolerances follow the customer drawing. Select the complete material grade and required supplied state around the component’s working role and the efficiency requirements of its intended machinery.
Explain the design requirement behind efficiency
Identify how the part locates, mounts or contacts the surrounding assembly. Show interfaces affecting operation and describe the actual duty in which they work. Define the design requirements to be assessed rather than applying a general machinery description as a numerical performance guarantee.
Allocate machining and surface acceptance
Machining is available when needed after casting. Mark the required operations, dimensional limits and measurement references for the final interfaces. Surface options include painting, powder coating and sandblasting; specify treated areas and the final contact or appearance condition on the chosen metal.
- Use an STP drawing tied to the controlling component revision.
- Identify quantity and material, dimensional and final-surface approval requirements.
- Describe customer-specific packing and the protection needed for completed interfaces.
Agree the order’s quality records
Request applicable ISO9001:2008 documentation with the relevant supplier and activity scope. Define inspection coverage, acceptance methods and the evidence needed to approve the individual part. Explain what an initial casting must demonstrate within its assembly, retaining approved changes to material, geometry and finish within the same machinery-component specification used for subsequent requests.
