ProcessCNC Milling Parts
For an industrial-equipment part, CNC milling should be specified around the features that make the component useful in its assembly. This customized OEM service centers on aluminum-alloy milling parts while also accepting other material enquiries. The part drawing can connect the selected metal, incoming blank and final surface condition before machining is quoted.
Tie milling tolerances to the component datums
The machining tolerance reference is ±0.01 mm, so identify the aluminum component dimensions to which that requirement applies. Show the datums and the intended measurement basis for those features rather than relying on a general precision label. For a milled equipment part, this gives the dimensional requirement a clear role in the finished assembly.
Select the material before the blank route
Aluminum-alloy and zinc-alloy enquiries are separate choices, not a single composition. Stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, steel alloys and plastic are additional material capabilities for discussion. Sand-casting and gravity-casting enquiries should define the proposed blank separately from the CNC milling scope, with the actual route selected for the part geometry and material.
- Provide the industrial part's controlled drawing revision.
- Identify the chosen alloy or other material for the milling enquiry.
- Mark the component's function-critical machined dimensions.
- Specify a natural surface or the customer's required treatment.
- Define the condition in which the finished equipment part will be accepted.
Make the delivered surface part of the brief
A natural finish may suit the requested component, while another industrial application can require a separately defined surface treatment. Describe the intended result for the milled part and identify any interfaces where that condition affects final acceptance. OEM packaging can be arranged using an export carton, a wood pallet or the required format, keeping the supplied component scope aligned with the order.
