Aluminum-alloy machinery components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand casting with sandblasting and optional machining. Dimensions and tolerances follow customer drawings. Select the complete grade and material condition around the actual part’s geometry, working duty and required supplied state.
Establish the machinery interface requirements
Show mounting, locating and contacting relationships with adjoining components. Mark the dimensions governing installation or operation and the references used for assessment. Define measurement conditions where several interfaces are evaluated together for final fit.
Separate cast and machined acceptance
Identify the faces requiring further work and distinguish them from regions accepted in their cast condition. Specify dimensional limits and the required final result at each controlled interface. Keep those requirements attached to the actual drawing rather than assuming a general numerical casting accuracy.
Define the sandblasted surface
Mark treated areas and describe the appearance or contact condition needed on the aluminum substrate. Identify masking where surface work affects dimensional assessment or installation. Define any separately requested coating and its compatible process around the selected component.
Set drawing and approval records
STP files are accepted and packing can follow customer-specific requirements. State quantity and the controlling part revision, identifying material, dimensional and surface evidence for acceptance. Request applicable ISO9001:2008 documentation and activity scope, retaining approved grade and finishing decisions within the component definition used for repeat machinery supply.
