OEM/ODM enquiries include stainless-steel, aluminum or ductile-iron components with CNC machining and CAD or customized service. Select gravity, investment or sand casting for a compatible material and drawing. Client specifications should identify the complete grade and required supplied condition.
Define the actual equipment component
Automotive, pump, valve, mechanical and agricultural requests need their own function and operating duty. Show the interfaces connecting the part to the intended assembly. Mark datums and dimensional limits governing location, mounting and working contact for the component being ordered.
Separate casting geometry from CNC requirements
Identify which surfaces remain in a cast condition and which require final machining. Put measurement conditions and finished-interface acceptance on the drawing. Specify material, dimensional and surface records needed to demonstrate the selected supplied state.
- Accepted data includes STEP, STL and IGS.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Define the purpose of an initial approval component.
- Select carton, wooden-box or another agreed packing arrangement.
Connect CAD and sample decisions to production
Explain what the supplied design data and any reference sample establish about geometry or appearance. Record approved component changes with the client specification. Identify which CAD and component changes need renewed approval before production. Identify protection needed for finished contacts and mating areas within the packing. Keep the accepted grade, route and CNC scope attached to the order so production approval follows the actual custom casting and machining result.
