    Resin Sand Casting+CNC Machining

Trailer and vehicle towing hooks can be requested through OEM/ODM resin-sand casting and CNC machining. Material choices are WCB, A216WCC or QT500-7, with steel and ductile-iron requirements selected independently. Define the actual hook or hitch geometry and complete specification for the component.

Set material condition and towing duty

Quenching and tempering requires the applicable alloy, procedure and final condition agreed for the design. State the required towing capacity, working load and service conditions for the selected hook. Show attachment and mating relationships with the actual vehicle or trailer assembly.

Assign CNC and supplied-interface limits

The tolerance reference is ±0.01–±0.05 mm or according to drawing. Identify affected dimensions and processing stages, with locating references and measurement conditions for acceptance. Define the final surface and contact requirements around the selected material and hook design.

Separate inspection and load-test coverage

Strict 100% inspection is stated for component approval. MT magnetic-particle inspection and load testing require their own methods, coverage and acceptance criteria. Identify the material, dimensional and test records needed to accept the selected towing component.

  • Provide 2D PDF/CAD/DWG/DXF or 3D IGES/STEP/VDA information.
  • State hook or hitch quantity and the controlling assembly revision.
  • Explain the initial-component assessment required at attachment interfaces.
  • Retain accepted grade and test-scope decisions within the part definition.

Confirm subsequent hooks against the approved trailer or vehicle towing design and supplied condition.
