Mining-component enquiries cover WCB steel-related sand/vacuum casting and separately specified 42CrMo material and processing requirements. OEM/ODM supply should establish complete specifications, incoming form and a compatible route. Other items can be requested in aluminum, iron, magnesium, zinc, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals or precious metals.
Select the grade and process for each part
Die, sand, investment, lost-foam or vacuum-casting routes need the actual material and geometry defined. Do not assume cast-grade equivalence between the steel references. Quenching/tempering or solution/aging requires the selected alloy and final condition agreed for that item.
Specify finishing and examination areas
Powder coating, zinc plating and laser engraving are named surface requests. Identify coverage and final contact or appearance requirements. Metallography, MT, UT, RT and CMM need defined methods, examination areas and acceptance records; 100% visual and 100% gauge checks cover the agreed appearance and gauged characteristics.
Define application and governing requirements
Automotive, motorcycle, energy, medical-device and robotics applications supplement the mining duty. Specify the actual component and acceptance brief. Governing families include ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS; select complete documents and request applicable ISO9001:2015/IATF16949 records and activity scope.

- State the mining or separate component quantity and controlling revision.
- Identify material and dimensional approval evidence.
- Retain accepted grade and interface decisions within the part record.
