Specify the exhaust-flange connection through the actual engineering-vehicle drawing and material requirement. This OEM/ODM enquiry includes gray-iron sand casting and separately specified steel components. The flange's mating geometry and required final condition define the precision and surface acceptance needed for the ordered part.

Identify the Material for the Connection

Select the complete grade and governing specification for the actual flange. Each material choice should carry its own required condition and acceptance basis, connected to the component drawing.

  • Gray cast iron can be specified for the sand-casting enquiry.
  • Stainless steel can be requested for a separately defined flange component.
  • Steel-alloy work can follow the chosen material designation.
  • Carbon-steel components can carry their own drawing and condition requirements.

Control the Flange Dimensions and Surface

The tolerance reference is 0.01 mm, with controlled dimensions, actual limits and supplied stage to agree. Mark the connection interfaces that govern assembly and define the relevant exhaust duty. Passivation is a surface request to assess for the selected substrate, with its process and final-condition requirements specified for that component.

Use the Drawing Files for Final Approval

Accepted formats include JPG and PDF for 2D data, and STEP or STP for 3D data. The selected flange receives 100% inspection under an ISO9001 system, with methods, records and applicable ISO9001:2015 supplier scope agreed for the order. Provide quantity and material, dimensional and surface acceptance alongside the mating geometry. That gives the engineering-vehicle connection a clear approval basis tied to the actual part.
