Begin the wheel-hub casting enquiry with the drawing that defines its mounting, bearing and rotational geometry. This custom iron sand-casting service connects the selected material to the hub's dimensional and final-surface acceptance. A complete grade and property-test definition are needed before the mechanical requirements can be assigned to the ordered component.
Give Each Property Its Test Basis
The property references include 510 MPa, 200 HBS hardness, 7% elongation and 70% spheroidization. Specify the actual iron grade, test type and acceptance basis that govern those requirements. In particular, identify what the MPa value measures rather than assuming it is a particular strength test.
Define the Finished Hub Geometry
Mark the mounting and bearing interfaces relevant to the actual wheel-hub design. State the controlled dimensions and required supplied condition so the precision request is assessed against the drawing. Any rotational-duty acceptance should be supplied as part of that design rather than inferred from a generic wheel-hub description.
Select the Surface and Appearance Requirements
Painting, powder coating, galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing are the named finishing options. Agree the applicable process and coverage for the selected iron and final component condition. The surface criteria should remain tied to the same hub drawing and material specification used for dimensional and property approval.
Connect the Guarantee to the Ordered Supply
A one-year guarantee against quality defects is offered, with its scope and terms agreed for the actual component. Packing is tailored to each product, while applicable TS16949 system documentation can be requested with its supplier scope. Provide quantity and final material, dimensional and surface criteria so the casting proposal describes a specific wheel-hub deliverable rather than an unallocated property list.
