Take a carbon-steel, iron or aluminum component from its drawing to a clearly defined processing enquiry. This OEM sand-casting service includes one-stop requests for 3D printing, molding, CNC machining, surface treatment and assembly. Assign the actual tool, printed item and finished component within that scope so the proposed work addresses the deliverable your project requires.
Draw a Boundary Around the Printed and Cast Items
Identify the material grade and starting form for each item covered by the enquiry. A 3D-printing request should describe its own part or tooling role, while the molding and casting requirements remain attached to the component drawing. PDF, CAD, IGES and STEP provide the named technical-data options for that discussion.
Define the Unit Behind the Precision Reference
The tolerance reference is ±0.005, with its unit, controlled dimensions and measurement stage to agree. Put those details on the drawing before using the number as an approval criterion. ASTM, ANSI, JIS, DIN, EN and GB are standard-family references; choose the actual governing document and grade needed for the selected carbon-steel, iron or aluminum item.
- Painting can be assigned to the specified component surfaces.
- Powder coating can be defined by its substrate and final condition.
- Polishing and electroplating can be selected for their required appearance.
- Shot blasting can be included with agreed surface coverage.
Bring Assembly and Inspection into the Same Plan
Mark the CNC-finished interfaces and the assembly scope that the final component must satisfy. Strict 100% inspection is available, with characteristics, checking methods and records agreed for the ordered work. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and supplier scope alongside the drawing revision, quantity and supplied-condition requirements, keeping the integrated proposal tied to an assessable finished part.
