Choose the metal and manufacturing route around the component, whether the project calls for an aluminum die-cast item or a separately defined iron or steel sand casting. This OEM/ODM enquiry also accommodates zinc-alloy requests, with custom dimensions and surface requirements attached to the individual drawing. Keep ferrous and nonferrous deliverables clearly identified when several parts belong to the same equipment project.
Keep Each Alloy Requirement Distinct
The aluminum references are A360, A380, A390, ADC-12 and ADC10; zinc-alloy choices include ZA-3 and ZA-5. Give each selected designation its complete governing specification and required condition. Iron and steel work needs an independently stated material requirement rather than inheriting the aluminum or zinc designation.
Select the Casting Route for the Drawing
Die, sand and gravity casting are process requests to assess against the chosen metal and geometry. Mark the dimensions relevant to the 0.01 mm tolerance reference and agree the actual limits and measurement stage. The custom-size proposal should distinguish the casting geometry from any finished interfaces needed in the assembly.
Choose a Finish for the Actual Substrate
Anodizing, nickel plating, zinc plating and polishing provide the named finishing options. Specify the treatment, coverage and required final appearance for the selected alloy instead of applying one finish requirement to every material. Surface approval should remain linked to the same drawing and supplied condition as the controlled dimensions.
Connect the Part to Its Equipment Role
Communication equipment, automation machinery and medical-device component enquiries each need their own duty and acceptance requirements. Define the sample approval arrangement, required quantity and material, dimensional and surface criteria for that particular role. Applicable ISO9001 documentation can be requested with its scope, giving the custom component enquiry a clear quality basis without assuming an equipment-specific approval.
