A foundry quotation should identify whether the order concerns a sand-molding flask, a mould box or a powered Z14 molding assembly. This enquiry covers those supply discussions. Start with the working mould dimensions and line interfaces so that the box and any associated machinery can be described precisely.

Define the flask and line interfaces first

Provide the required working area, flask arrangement and connections to the surrounding equipment. Identify the items included in the order and any equipment already in service. This separates the dimensional requirements of the mould box from the installation space and utilities of a powered molding assembly.

Review the powered-assembly electrical reference

For the molding-equipment enquiry, listed power is 7.5 kW, with 380 V, 220 V and 440 V supply choices. Overall dimensions are stated as 3000 × 1200 × 2200 mm. Select the electrical version and confirm the installation layout for the assembly being quoted; these machine references should not be assigned to a flask supplied on its own.
