A container midlock should be selected through its lashing interface and required operating acceptance. This cast-steel automatic fixing-cone enquiry includes sandblasting and CNC machining. Hot-dip galvanizing, zinc plating and electrogalvanizing are named surface choices, with silver or custom color.
Define the container-lashing interface
Provide the fitting drawing and the mating arrangement required by the installation. Identify the dimensions that control engagement and location. State the operating and load requirements established for the intended container arrangement so acceptance relates to the actual use.
- Identify the midlock/fixing-cone drawing and revision.
- Specify the steel grade and required quantity.
- Mark CNC-finished interfaces and dimensional limits.
- Select the galvanized or plated finish and color.
Select the finish for the supplied fitting
Choose hot-dip galvanizing, zinc plating or electrogalvanizing for the requested configuration. Identify contact areas and any dimensional requirements after surface treatment. The finishing scope should be coordinated with the machined interface and the fitting's delivered condition.
Specify tests and application requirements
Identify the required load acceptance, test records and application approvals for the ordered fitting. These should be agreed for the selected container arrangement rather than inferred from the midlock name. The automatic fixing-cone description should be matched to the actual geometry and operating requirement.
Agree the OEM/ODM order scope
OEM/ODM support is offered, with a minimum order of 100 pieces and one fitting per box. Define the component configuration and inspection requirements in the purchase request. The drawing, finish and agreed acceptance should establish the steel lashing fitting to be received.
