Custom industrial casting enquiries cover aluminum alloy, stainless steel or iron, with sand- or die-casting routes selected for the part. OEM/ODM work includes machining where needed and polishing. Specify the complete material and actual component drawing before defining its final surface and appearance.

Assign the route and finished geometry

Identify the manufacturing request appropriate to the chosen grade and shape. Show mounting, locating and mating interfaces with the datums controlling their fit. Distinguish areas accepted as cast from those requiring final work, including the measurement stage for each functional dimension.

Connect polishing and color with the component

Mark the faces requiring the polished result and provide the requested color reference. Define coverage, masking and appearance criteria appropriate to the selected substrate. State the contact-surface condition needed where finishing could influence assembly or use.

  • Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
  • State the required material condition.
  • Define material and dimensional approval records.
  • Identify final surface acceptance.
  • Explain the purpose of an approval sample.

Include identification and qualification requirements

A customer logo is accepted. Provide artwork, intended location and the requested result, keeping it coordinated with functional and visible areas. State any placement restrictions affecting customer identification before artwork approval. Request relevant ISO9001:2015 certificate scope alongside the part requirements. Agree the actual checks needed for sample and production approval, retaining the selected material, geometry and supplied-state definition for the casting order.
