Put seal location and mounting on one drawing
Show the geometry locating the seal and its relationship to the equipment’s mounting interfaces. Mark the datums and dimensional limits controlling alignment and fit. Distinguish surfaces accepted as cast from those needing CNC-finished dimensions or a particular contact condition.
State the actual medium and operating requirements
Describe the housing’s role in the selected agitator, irrigation or marine installation. Identify operating conditions and the design-specific checks needed for acceptance. Define material, dimensional and surface records that demonstrate the component requirements at the agreed inspection stage.
Provide the files needed for the selected housing
Accepted formats include 2D PDF, CAD, DWG and DXF, and 3D IGES, STEP and VDA. Include quantity and the controlling revision. If a sample or adjoining-part reference is supplied, identify what it establishes about seal location or installation geometry.
Agree protection and qualification scope
Packing is customized. Specify protection for the finished locating and mounting areas and the final condition expected at receipt.
