Custom aluminum or stainless-steel sand-casting enquiries are available with separately specified brass and copper components. Select the complete grade and compatible route for each actual part. The drawing should describe the cast shape, working relationships and required supplied condition for the selected use.
Describe the material’s application
Identify the part’s role within its equipment or assembly and the conditions in which it must work. Show mounting and contacting relationships with adjoining components. Connect those requirements to the chosen material and actual geometry instead of treating the alternatives as one configuration.
Define the precision component’s fit
Mark locating references and dimensions controlling installation or operation. Put permitted limits and measurement conditions beside the relevant interfaces. Distinguish regions accepted in the cast state from surfaces needing another final result for the selected assembly relationships.
- Provide the aluminum, stainless or separate component’s quantity and controlling revision.
- Identify the complete governing grade and material condition.
- Describe appearance and contact requirements at working surfaces.
- Specify material and dimensional evidence needed for approval.
Agree the initial-part assessment
Explain what the casting must demonstrate against its actual mating arrangement. Define the checks needed to accept geometry and final condition for the intended duty. Keep approved grade, interface and surface decisions within the component record used to confirm subsequent precision-casting requests for the same selected component’s working purpose.
