Custom metal-part service includes CNC machining and milling, with aluminum sand-casting enquiries selected for the actual component. Three-, four- and five-axis machining-center work is available. Provide the STEP drawing and identify the incoming material or casting to be finished.
Use the drawing to define the machining result
For the chosen component, assign the 0.01–0.02 mm tolerance reference to controlled dimensions and an agreed acceptance convention. Show datum relationships and the measurement stage. Explain which surfaces establish assembly fit and which geometries require the selected machining arrangement.
- State the complete material grade and required condition.
- Identify the incoming blank and remaining work.
- Mark working and contacting interfaces.
- Specify the matte appearance and assessment reference.
- Define any additional customer-requested surface treatment.
Give a sample a defined approval purpose
Samples are accepted. Describe what the initial part should demonstrate, such as selected dimensions, assembly relationships or the final surface result. Keep the sample requirement tied to the drawing revision and the condition in which those characteristics will be assessed. Include how that result will be recorded for order approval.
Complete the quotation’s machining scope
Provide quantity and identify material, dimensional and surface records needed for acceptance. Where a reference part accompanies the STEP file, state its role in interpreting the required result. Carry the agreed blank, machining boundaries and finished condition into the order so approval addresses the component actually being supplied.
