Custom brass sand-casting and mold-service enquiries include separately specified iron, steel, bronze and copper components. Select the actual metal family and complete grade for the drawing. The component’s use and required supplied condition should establish the geometry and acceptance to be quoted.

Assign the casting dimensions

CT7–CT9 is the casting-tolerance reference. Identify the applicable dimensions, datum scheme and supplied stage for the selected component. Show mounting and mating interfaces together with any areas for which additional work is requested.

Specify the ordered surface condition

Surface treatment follows customer requirements. Define the actual process and the appearance and contact-surface acceptance needed for the part. Mark any coverage or masking boundaries so the delivered condition remains compatible with assembly.

  • Provide quantity; the listed minimum order is 100 pieces.
  • State the drawing revision and full material designation.
  • Mark controlled dimensions and measurement locations.
  • Identify material, dimensional and surface approval records.

Name complete governing standards

ISO, EN, DIN, GB, JIS, AISI, SAE, ASTM and ASME are standard families. Specify the actual document and edition that applies to the order. The chosen standard should be connected to the component requirement rather than treated as a general material equivalence.

Define the inspection record

The service states 100% inspection. Identify the checks and records needed for the selected casting and supplied condition, and connect any sample approval to the same drawing, grade and acceptance basis used for production.
