Custom mechanical-part enquiries include C30 or C40 carbon-steel sand castings with painting. Select the complete grade and governing client specification for the actual drawing and intended mechanical assembly. OEM/ODM dimensions are customized to the component and required supplied condition.
Locate the casting requirements on the drawing
CT9 is the casting-tolerance reference. Identify the dimensions and convention to which it applies, keeping any additional finished-interface requirements separate. Mark mounting, locating and contact geometry with the datum relationships used to assess fit in the mechanical assembly.
Define the material and service requirements
State the required steel condition and acceptance properties relevant to the component’s duty. Include the material records needed to establish the selected specification. If a reference component accompanies the drawing, identify wear or damage and show the intended geometry to be supplied.

Connect painting, inspection and qualification
Specify paint coverage, masking and appearance on the selected faces, including contact areas where surface condition affects fit. Retain the same grade, drawing limits and supplied-state definition for sample approval and production acceptance of the mechanical part.
