Machinery-equipment casting enquiries cover carbon-steel resin-sand components, with aluminum parts as a separate material option. Select the complete grade and actual route for the drawing. Customized sizes, machining where needed and customer-requested surface treatment can be defined within the component quotation.
Start from the machinery connection
Show the mounting points and mating surfaces that locate the part in its equipment. Mark the datum relationships used to check those interfaces, together with sections explaining internal geometry. The requested material condition should relate to the component’s function and operating requirements.
Set casting and finished-dimension acceptance
Identify the allowable limits for cast geometry and distinguish them from dimensions requiring subsequent machining. State the measurement stage and records needed to approve each functional interface. This gives the precision request an actual drawing basis for the selected material and supplied state.
Coordinate the design data and finish
Drawing information can be supplied as 2D PDF or CAD and 3D IGES or STEP. Keep revisions aligned across the files. Define the required surface treatment, coverage and contact-area condition, including any masking relevant to the finished fit.
Complete packing and approval instructions
Packing follows customer requirements. Specify protection needed for the component’s edges and finished interfaces alongside the order quantity. Agree the material, dimensional and appearance records used for approval, connecting any sample to the controlled drawing. The production order should retain that same material, geometry and supplied-state definition for the machinery part.
