Machinery-part casting enquiries need a material grade, a component drawing and a defined delivered condition. This OEM/ODM service covers carbon-steel, stainless-steel and iron requests, with investment casting, sand casting and gravity casting selected for the actual part. Optional machining and surface treatment can be included in the supply scope.
Use the machinery function to define the component
Identify where the part fits and which interfaces determine installation or operation. Mark the dimensions that control those interfaces and describe the intended duty where it affects the material requirement. Select the exact metal grade rather than treating the available material families as one interchangeable specification.
Allocate casting and finishing work to the drawing
Machinery-part quotations can include the selected casting, machining of designated interfaces where required, and the specified delivered surface condition. Show which surfaces require finished dimensions and state the required surface condition. Discuss the chosen investment-, sand- or gravity-casting route for the specified design, then identify that route in the quotation.
