Set the cover’s opening and seating requirements
For a manhole cover, show the opening, seating contact and surrounding assembly. State the service loads and acceptance requirements relevant to that installation. Put the necessary fit relationships on the drawing so the cover can be assessed with its intended support arrangement.
Describe a separate industrial casting
A gray-iron machinery request needs its own functional geometry and mounting or contact interfaces. Mark the dimensions that control installation and identify the material condition required by the equipment. Include any adjacent-component information needed to explain how the casting will be accepted.
Assign finishing and flaw examination
The service includes sand casting, deburring, machining and sand blasting. Distinguish cast-state areas from surfaces requiring final work and define the required appearance. Quality control includes an X-ray flaw detector; agree the examination coverage, acceptance criteria and records for the selected part.
Complete approval and protection
Wooden-case packing is listed. Specify protection appropriate to the finished surfaces and mating geometry. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and scope alongside the actual component checks, keeping the selected grade, controlled revision and required delivery condition consistent throughout order approval.
