Custom ductile-iron sand-casting enquiries include a separate nonstandard aluminum bell-housing scope. Select the actual component and complete material specification before defining the manufacturing request. OEM work can include casting, machining where needed and the surface condition required by the drawing.

Define the bell housing’s fitted geometry

The aluminum-housing tolerance reference is ±0.1 mm. Identify the affected dimensions, datums and finished condition for those limits. Show mounting, locating and mating interfaces that determine how the housing joins its intended assembly, with cast areas distinguished from interfaces requiring subsequent work.

Select processing for the actual component

Anodizing, brushing and polishing are named surface requests, with broaching also listed for appropriate work. Assign the selected operations and treatments to the chosen material and geometry. Define coverage, masking and any contact condition needed where finishing affects fit.

  • Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
  • State the full grade and required condition.
  • Mark cast and finished-interface boundaries.
  • Define material and dimensional approval records.

Complete packing and sample acceptance

Export packing can include carton, wooden pallet or customer-required arrangements. Identify protection needed for the housing or separate iron part’s finished surfaces. Agree the checks and criteria used for approval, including what any sample demonstrates against the drawing. Keep production acceptance connected to the selected material, geometry and supplied-state definition so the quoted component has a clear order basis.
