Custom machine-base sand-casting enquiries include FCD600 iron with drilling, milling, turning, grinding and heat treatment. Specify the complete material requirement for the base. A separately requested gray-cast option needs its own grade, with professional CNC-machining and casting work defined for the actual component.
Show the machine-base reference geometry
Identify mounting faces, fitted openings and interfaces supporting the machine assembly. Mark their datum relationships and the supplied condition in which they are checked. The tolerance reference is 0.01 mm, with its dimensions, allowable limits and machining stage to be agreed.
Define material condition and painted surfaces
State the required heat-treated condition for the chosen iron and the records used to approve it. Baking paint and painting are named finish choices. Mark coverage and masking at fitted or contacting areas, with the final surface condition tied to dimensional acceptance.
Assign inspection and analysis tasks
Technical resources include X-ray or radiographic inspection, laser-tracker measurement and mechanical-property inspection. Define their selected scope and acceptance records for the base. FEA is an analysis reference; identify the requested study and deliverable separately from the physical checks.

GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard-family references. Name the actual document and grade alongside quantity and the controlled revision.
