Custom cast-iron machine-tool lathe beds and CNC machine bases include GG30 and FC300 material references. CNC-machining services can be defined with shell-mold, film-coated or resin-bonded sand-casting requirements. Select the exact grade, route and supplied condition for the actual machine-base drawing.

Apply the material and accuracy requirements

Hardness is referenced as HB180–220 and accuracy as 0.005 mm. Identify the selected material condition, measurement locations, datums and finishing stage for those requirements. Mark the interfaces controlling how the base or bed fits the intended machine assembly.

Define mounting and installation geometry

Simple installation is a stated attribute. Provide the actual mounting dimensions, locating details and connection requirements needed to assess it for the design. Distinguish cast areas from interfaces requiring final machining, with acceptance limits assigned to the correct supplied stage.

  • Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
  • State the complete governing material specification.
  • Mark finished and working surface boundaries.
  • Identify material and dimensional approval records.
  • Define what an acceptable sample should demonstrate.

Connect the surface with component approval

Sand blasting is the named surface condition. Specify its coverage and any contact areas requiring a particular final state. Samples are accepted; agree their evaluation against the drawing and the selected grade, hardness and dimensional requirements. Keep production acceptance tied to that same geometry and supplied-state definition so the bed or base is assessed for its actual machine application.
