Custom tent-foot weights can be requested in gray iron through sand casting, with size and color selected for the actual component. Choose the complete grade and required supplied condition. The drawing should define the weight’s geometry and relationship with the chosen tent-foot installation.
Set the individual ballast requirement
Specify the required mass and acceptance limits for the selected part. Keep the individual component requirement separate from the total-order basis when agreeing quantity. Define the actual tent and installation duty behind any assembly-stability requirement.
Describe the foot and mounting geometry
Show locating and contacting relationships with the adjoining tent components. Mark dimensions governing fit and the references used for assessment. Establish measurement conditions for interfaces evaluated together during approval of the selected ballast arrangement.
Define appearance and governing records
Identify the required color and final contact or visible-surface condition. Standard families include GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS; select complete documents relevant to the chosen grade and design. Specify material, dimensional and surface evidence required for component acceptance.
- Packing combines wooden case and pallet.
- Define protection appropriate to finished contacts and appearance.
- State the tent-weight quantity and controlling drawing revision.
- Explain what an initial casting must demonstrate with the mating foot.
Retain accepted grade, geometry and ballast decisions within the component definition used for repeat supply to the same tent installation.
