    OEM\ODM

Machinery-base and bearing-housing enquiries are offered in grey iron, ductile iron or ADI through custom iron sand casting. OEM/ODM work can define the size, mounting arrangement and finished interfaces required by the actual equipment design.

  • Select the iron family and complete material grade.
  • Provide the base or housing drawing and controlled revision.
  • Mark bearing, mounting and locating-interface dimensions.
  • Specify supplied condition and durability requirements.
  • Define the inspection records and order quantity.

Locate the bearing and mounting relationships

Show the geometry that controls how the bearing housing or base supports the adjoining assembly. Identify the dimensions and datums used to accept those relationships. Customized size should be defined through the actual drawing so the casting enquiry addresses the required part rather than a generic base.

Choose the material and inspection documents

DIN, AISI, SAE, ASTM, UNS, GOST, ISO, BS, EN and JIS are named standard families. Specify the applicable grade and document for the selected iron. Testing resources include spectrograph, CMM, roughness tester and tension tester; identify the tests, coverage and acceptance limits needed for the order.

Keep separate fabrication requests clearly defined

Blanking, bending, forming, welding and anodizing are additional processing enquiries for appropriate selected items and materials. Give any such component its own manufacturing brief. Request the actual supplier qualification documents and applicable scope for purchasing, including ISO9001, TS16949 or RoHS requirements relevant to the ordered component.
