Pipe-support and flange-fitting castings should be ordered through the connection geometry required by the assembly. This OEM/ODM enquiry names grey-cast-iron sand castings, with machining when needed and customer-requested surface treatment. Dimensions and finished requirements follow the component drawing.
Show the support or flange connection clearly
Provide the pipe or assembly interface, connection pattern and mounting surfaces. Identify the dimensions that establish installation and the operating duty relevant to the component. Select the grey-iron grade and applicable specification for the requested design.
- Supply 2D PDF/CAD drawings or a 3D IGES/STEP model.
- Select the material grade and required quantity.
- Mark connection geometry and optional machined interfaces.
- Specify surface treatment and supplied condition.
- Define dimensional and service acceptance requirements.
- Identify inspection records and supplier-document scope.
Allocate casting, machining and surface work
The pipe support or flange fitting can be supplied with machining where required and the drawing-specified surface treatment after casting. Describe the finished dimensions required at the mounting or mating interfaces. Broader iron, steel and aluminum component requests are separate material choices to define through their own grade and route requirements.
Define acceptance for the intended duty
Specify any required pressure, support-load or standard-connection criteria within the project request. Carton and wooden-box packing are named supply options. ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS are qualification references for which the applicable documents and scope should be identified. The drawing and service specification should establish the actual fitting or support rather than an assumed rating from its name.
