Custom gray-iron sand-casting enquiries include separately selected investment casting, machining, welding and forging work. Material options cover stainless steel, steel, brass, copper, aluminum and iron, with plastic-component requests independently specified. Choose the complete grade, suitable route and actual supplied part.

Assign operations and tolerances by stage

Service scope includes molds, casting, deburring, machining, surface treatment and packing. Machining requests name broaching, drilling, milling, turning and tapping; the wire process needs its actual method defined. Casting is referenced as CT4–CT8 and machining separately as ±0.02 mm, with controlled dimensions and acceptance stage agreed for the selected component.

Choose the final surface

Polishing, passivating, sandblasting, zinc plating and black oxide are named treatments. Select a compatible method and specify coverage or masking around fitted geometry. Identify the contact and visual condition required for approval of the delivered part.

Choose documents for the selected material

Document families include GB, ISO, ASTM, ASME, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BSW, BS, API and EN. Specify the actual document, grade and condition required by the design. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 and TUV records and scope alongside the component requirements.

Complete the approval definition

Provide quantity and the controlled drawing revision, with datums and dimensions governing fit. Agree material, dimensional and surface records for sample approval. Retain the same selected material, operations and supplied-state requirements through production acceptance, keeping plastic or other separate work distinct from the iron casting request.
