HT200 or HT250 gray-iron coated-sand castings can be requested for sprayer gears, with separate ductile-iron or stainless-steel components and CNC work. Define the complete grade and actual drawing for each item. Dimensions and supplied conditions should describe the component being ordered.
Show the gear and mating geometry
Identify the working profile and its relationship to adjoining machinery parts. Mark locating, mounting and contacting interfaces with the datums governing fit. State the actual duty and material condition relevant to the selected sprayer gear or separate component.
Keep casting and CNC limits separate
The casting reference is ±1 mm. Identify affected dimensions and the supplied stage for that requirement, with finished CNC limits defined independently on the drawing. Put measurement conditions and any jointly assessed relationships into the component acceptance brief.
Assign finish and sample approval
Painting, anodizing and electroplating requests need a compatible substrate and explicit surface result. Define coverage, masking and appearance at working or visible areas. The minimum order is ten pieces and samples are available; explain the characteristics an initial part must demonstrate.
- Supply 2D PDF/DWG or 3D IGES/STEP information.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Define actual checks and records within the stated 100% inspection.
- Retain approved grade and finished-interface changes with the drawing.
Keep production acceptance connected to the selected gear or separate material component and its required cast, machined and treated condition.
