OEM/ODM iron housings are offered for gearbox and motor enclosures, with sand casting, CNC machining and precision-bored interfaces. Material choices are HT200 or HT250 gray iron and QT500-7 ductile iron. Select the governing grade specification for the actual enclosure design.

Control the bores through the assembly datums

Show bore locations and their relationship to mounting faces and adjoining components. The casting-tolerance reference is CT8–CT10; define the finished bore limits separately. Identify the measurement condition and dimensions that must be assessed together to establish the required housing fit.

Use the report to document the housing result

The housing service specifies 100% CMM inspection with a dimensional report. Agree the controlled characteristics and reporting requirements for the selected enclosure. Material documentation is available as a mill certificate or EN10204 3.1 record; identify the actual certificate and traceability scope needed for the order.

  • Specify the complete drawing revision and quantity.
  • Define anti-rust primer and top-coat coverage.
  • Choose the customizable color and appearance reference.
  • Mark masking and contact conditions at machined interfaces.

Carry the accepted housing definition into support

Online technical support and video calls are listed after warranty. Keep the approved material, machining and inspection records identifiable for future component enquiries. Include the motor or gearbox connection geometry relevant to the actual application so the supplied enclosure has a clear assembly and acceptance basis.
