OEM and ODM enquiries cover custom metal components made by selected investment or sand casting. Specify the actual metal grade and component drawing so the quotation addresses the required geometry and supplied condition. Tolerances follow the customer’s drawing requirements.
Define the component before selecting subsequent work
Show the functional interfaces and the dimensions relating them to one another. Mark the areas accepted as cast and the surfaces requiring a finished operation. Machining can be included where needed, with its scope identified through the final dimension and contact-surface requirements.

- Mark measurement datums and approval locations.

Choose the required final surface
Blasting, polishing, powder coating, zinc plating and chrome plating are named finish choices. Select the treatment for the actual substrate and mark masking or appearance boundaries. The acceptance instruction should identify the condition required after treatment, including surfaces that mate with adjoining parts.
Set standards and qualification scope
GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard families requiring the full document and edition for the order. ISO9001:2008 and TS16949 are qualification references whose applicable information and scope should be identified. Include the inspection and any sample approval required for the selected component, with the material, drawing revision and delivered condition kept consistent between approval and subsequent supply.
