Custom aluminum die-casting enquiries include optional machining for automotive, home-appliance, electronics or furniture components. Cast-iron sand castings, stainless-steel and brass parts are separate requests requiring their own grade and route. Define the actual component drawing and supplied state for OEM/ODM quotation.
Match the dimensions to the delivered interface
The tolerance reference is 0.01–0.05 mm. Identify the dimensions concerned, their allowable limits and the process stage at which they are assessed. Show mounting, locating or contacting areas with the datum relationships needed to establish the component’s fit.
Choose the surface for its actual function
Named options are polishing, grinding, sandblasting and electrophoresis. Specify the selected finish and the faces where appearance or contact condition matters. Mark coverage or masking requirements around fitted areas, keeping final surface acceptance consistent with the drawing.
Define inspection around the chosen component
The stated 100% inspection applies to an agreed component-checking scope. Assign the material, dimensional and visual requirements to the part being ordered, with acceptance limits and records identified for approval. A sample should demonstrate the selected geometry and surface condition using the same drawing revision.
Set packing and qualification requirements
Bubble-bag and carton packing are listed. Describe protection required for the treated faces and finished interfaces, alongside the order quantity. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 certificate scope so supplier qualification and part approval each have a clear basis within the selected supply.
