Custom connecting-rod and crop-harvesting machinery casting enquiries include coated-sand iron parts with QT900-2, FC400 or FC350 references. Aluminum die-cast components are separate requests. Gray iron, ductile iron and stainless steel should each be specified by their complete grade and governing document.
Identify the harvesting component’s assembly role
Show the working contacts, mounting geometry and relationships to adjacent machinery parts. State loads and operating conditions relevant to the selected material. Keep the actual grade and family attached to the drawing rather than treating different iron references as one material requirement.
Place casting and surface acceptance on the drawing
The casting-tolerance reference is ±1 mm. Assign it to agreed dimensions and supplied stages, with datums and measurement conditions identified. Painting, anodizing and electroplating are named requests; select the actual treatment for a compatible substrate and define coverage, masking and final appearance.
- The minimum order is ten pieces and samples are available.
- Supply 2D PDF/DWG or 3D IGES/STEP data.
- Identify material and dimensional approval records.
- Define the characteristics an initial component must demonstrate.
Agree the actual inspection brief
The stated 100% inspection should address the selected component’s material, geometry and surface requirements. Specify methods and reporting needed for acceptance. Identify the harvesting function assessed by each selected inspection and record. Include quantity and the controlled revision, retaining approved grade, route and finish changes with the machinery casting or separate aluminum-part definition.
