Industrial casting enquiries include resin-sand iron and steel components, with stainless steel specified for the selected part. Custom surfaces, colors and logos can be defined around the drawing. The minimum order is 500 pieces, and samples are offered for approval.

Establish one material requirement for each component

Identify the complete grade, condition and document needed by the intended industrial duty. Show the component’s overall form and the interfaces joining it to surrounding equipment. Use the selected material and geometry to discuss the appropriate casting requirements for that order.

Give the surface a functional and visual brief

Mark working faces, contact areas and surfaces whose appearance matters. Specify the requested treatment and color, including coverage and masking where these affect installation. For a custom logo, supply artwork, placement and the required visible result without obscuring the component’s controlled interfaces.

Use a sample to resolve the approval task

Explain whether sample approval concerns geometry, appearance, material or a combination of requirements. Identify the drawing revision and the records needed to assess the selected characteristics. If part-specific machining or inspection is required, include its scope and acceptance condition in the enquiry.

Keep the production order tied to the approved part

Provide quantity and the required supplied state together with the component definition. Record which drawing, surface and identification requirements govern production acceptance. This gives the sample decision a clear relationship to the industrial castings subsequently ordered.
