Custom sandblasted components are offered in carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloys through investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting. Dimensions are customized for the selected part. Applications include industrial, commercial, household and automotive components.
Connect the tolerance to the casting design
The stated tolerance is ±0.02 mm. Agree the controlled features, geometry, manufacturing stage and measurement plan for the ordered component. Show the datums used to assess related interfaces and identify the supplied condition in which the limits must be met. Include any additional machining requirements for agreement rather than assigning the tolerance to an assumed operation.
Define the sandblasted surface requirement
The roughness reference is Ra3.2–Ra6.3. Specify its unit, controlled surfaces and drawing convention for acceptance. Distinguish functional interfaces from visible areas and identify any surfaces needing particular protection or treatment. Keep the surface requirement linked to the selected alloy and final component condition.
Prepare a traceable order brief
Sandblasted investment-cast components are offered with 100% inspection against the agreed part requirements. Define the dimensions, surfaces and records to be covered for the actual part. The service states more than 10 years of export experience, with a minimum order of 100 pieces and wooden-pallet packing.
- Provide the drawing revision and complete material grade.
- State quantity, intended duty and assembly interfaces.
- Identify application-specific approvals and initial component acceptance requirements.
When the design changes, connect the revised geometry, material and surface criteria to the inspection plan. Keep repeat enquiries tied to the same sandblasted investment cast component and its approved supplied condition.
