Industrial castings can be ordered with customized shape, size and color. This OEM/ODM enquiry includes stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum parts, with sand-, investment- and die-casting route choices. Polishing is the named finish, with machining included where needed.
Identify the component and selected metal
Provide the part drawing and name the complete grade required by the design. Show the shape and interfaces that determine assembly or function. Each material request should identify its own component and manufacturing requirement rather than imply a universal route for all metals.
- Supply the controlled part drawing and alloy designation.
- Select the required casting route and order quantity.
- Mark any interfaces needing finished machining.
- Specify the polished condition and requested color.
- Define dimensional and appearance acceptance.
- Identify the records needed for inspection.
Coordinate optional machining and polishing
The industrial part can combine its selected casting route with any required machining and a specified polished surface condition. Identify the dimensions requiring machining and the surface result expected after polishing. Contact or visible areas needing particular instructions should be marked on the drawing.
Agree the stated inspection and supplied condition
The service states 100% inspection and wooden-case packing. Define the characteristics checked and the records required for the ordered component. Keep the selected grade, route and finished dimensions aligned with the actual supplied condition. A clear acceptance specification allows the custom shape and appearance requirements to be reviewed against one identifiable industrial part.
