Custom stainless steel foundry parts are offered through investment casting with machining and customer-required dimensions. CNC machining is included in the service enquiry. GG20, GG25 and GG30 are separate iron material references for a defined sand or resin-casting request, rather than stainless steel grades.

Identify the actual delivered component

Supply a drawing or sample and explain the part's industrial function. Small or large components can be discussed against their actual dimensions and requirements. For a resin-casting enquiry, specify whether the requested route is resin-bonded sand or a different deliverable before assigning its material and process scope.

Define the casting and machining conditions

Select the complete stainless or iron grade for the chosen component. Casting tolerances follow the intended use and actual process, so mark the controlled features and acceptance limits on the drawing. Identify which interfaces require CNC work and how their dimensions relate to the surrounding assembly.

Connect approval to the supplied part

State the required surface finish, inspection coverage and qualification records for the selected material and route. Define the condition in which functional features will be assessed. Keep sample-based design information tied to a controlled revision when establishing repeat production requirements.

  • Describe the component's duty and important interfaces.
  • Specify material, route, quantity and required machining scope.
  • Agree dimensional checks and records needed for initial acceptance.

When requesting a revision, identify how the change affects fit, material selection and supplied condition. Keep the stainless investment-casting request distinct from any separately specified iron component enquiry.
