OEM/ODM stainless-steel parts are offered through wax/investment casting followed by machining and polishing. Size, color and packing are customized, allowing the enquiry to define the finished component and the surfaces that matter to its intended assembly.
Select the stainless grade for the actual part
Provide the complete stainless-steel grade and required material condition with the drawing. Explain the component's use and any service conditions that influence the metal requirement. This keeps material selection connected to the ordered part without assuming a particular grade from the general stainless-steel description.
Show the interfaces needing machining
Identify the mating faces, bores and other dimensions that require a machined condition. Mark the drawing datums and tolerances used to accept those interfaces, and distinguish them from surfaces that remain in the casting condition. The agreed scope can then follow the component from investment casting into the required machining work.
- Reference the current drawing and selected stainless grade.
- Mark machined interfaces and their acceptance dimensions.
- Specify the polished surfaces and required appearance.
- Describe any requested color treatment for evaluation.
- State quantity and customized packing requirements.
Make polishing and inspection measurable
Agree the finish expected from polishing on the designated surfaces, using an acceptance reference appropriate to the part. Quality control is stated as 100% inspection, so identify the dimensional, material and appearance checks needed for the order. The minimum order is one piece, supporting a clearly defined initial component enquiry with its drawing and acceptance record.
