Medical-equipment component enquiries should identify the part's function and material before selecting the manufacturing route. This scope includes steel sand-cast parts and separate aluminum die-cast components. Stainless steel, brass and copper are additional metal choices to define for the actual project.

Describe the component within the equipment

Show where the part fits and the interfaces that determine its use. Identify its function, required supplied condition and the dimensions that control assembly. This gives the casting enquiry a component-specific basis without relying on a broad medical-equipment description.

  • Provide the equipment-component drawing and revision.
  • Select the complete metal grade and applicable specification.
  • Identify the steel sand-cast or aluminum die-cast requirement.
  • Mark functional interfaces and dimensional limits.
  • State quantity and required inspection records.
  • Describe application qualification and delivered-condition needs.

Select one material and casting route

A steel sand-casting request and an aluminum die-casting request describe different supply choices. Additional stainless-steel, brass or copper components need their own grade and route requirements. The quotation should identify the proposed process for each ordered part rather than imply a universal metal/process combination.

Define the finished acceptance and qualification request

State the required dimensional, material and surface acceptance for the component. Any additional processing work should be described explicitly within the quotation request. Identify the documentation or qualification required for the part's intended equipment function. The drawing, grade and acceptance criteria should establish the actual component to be supplied.
