Custom iron motor-housing enquiries combine sand casting with machining where the drawing requires it. The housing should be defined by its mounting and locating interfaces, required material and supplied condition. OEM and ODM requests can also address the industrial, equipment or agricultural use of the actual component.
Select the full grade for the housing
Material requests name GG20, GG25, GG30, GGG50, HT150, HT200, QT450, QT450-10, QT500-7 and QT600-3. Specify the complete designation and governing standard for the selected iron. These labels should remain individual enquiries rather than an assumed equivalence between material systems.
Locate the finished interfaces on the drawing
The tolerance reference is 0.01 mm. Define its convention, controlled dimensions and delivered stage, then show the datums relating the mounting and mating geometry. Accepted files include 3D STEP/STP/IGS or 2D DXF/DWG/PDF/JPG.
- Provide the drawing revision and required quantity.
- Mark the interfaces needing a finished dimension.
- Define the required material condition and surface acceptance.
- Identify approval records for the selected housing.
Specify the finish and inspection evidence
Surface requests include sandblasting, mill finishing and primer/antirust-oil requirements, with the actual treatment defined for the order. Named inspection areas include dimensions, heat-treatment condition, hardness, NDT and surface. Select the applicable methods and acceptance criteria, including any masking or protection required at functional interfaces. Agree the actual sample and production delivery arrangements for the order scope.
