An aluminum component for electrical equipment should be defined by its assembly interfaces and final surface condition. This OEM service covers casting-route enquiries with CNC processing and customized part geometry. Select the alloy and required component condition before arranging the forming, machining and finishing operations for the order.
Connect the part to its electrical assembly
Describe the dimensions and mating areas that matter to the intended equipment. Include any application-specific isolation or acceptance requirements on the drawing instead of assuming that an aluminum part name establishes electrical suitability. A controlled component definition gives the manufacturing enquiry a particular finished item to address.
- Broaching is available within the CNC capability scope.
- Drilling and milling can be selected for the component drawing.
- Laser machining provides an additional operation enquiry.
- Turning is available for suitable part geometry.
- Rapid prototyping and micro machining are included capabilities.
- Size and logo can be customized.
- The minimum-order statement is 1-10 pieces.
Choose the material and casting route independently
Sand casting, gravity casting and die casting are separate route enquiries for the aluminum-alloy component. Wider machining-material choices include brass, bronze, copper, precious metals, stainless steel and steel alloys; these are alternatives, not ingredients of the aluminum grade. Agree the actual material and route for the required electrical-industry part.
Finish the interfaces to the drawing
Polishing, powder coating, painting, nickel-chrome finishing and anodizing are available surface-processing options. Define the final condition relevant to each area of the component, keeping the finish attached to the selected material and acceptance requirements. For an OEM electrical-equipment part, that brief connects the visible surface and the functional interfaces to the custom item being ordered.
