Custom three-way flanged valve-body and pipe-fitting enquiries cover cast-steel or ductile-iron sand castings, with separate aluminum-component requests. Size and requirements follow the drawing. Select the complete material grade and actual valve or fitting geometry, then define the interfaces that control connection and service.
Establish the flange and internal geometry
Show the flange arrangement, mating faces and internal passages on the controlled drawing. Identify the connection documents and pressure-design basis required for the selected component. Include the service medium and relevant operating conditions so that application-specific acceptance can be considered with the geometry.
- Submit 2D PDF/CAD drawings or a 3D IGES/STEP model.
- Give the required grade, drawing revision and order quantity.
- Mark connection dimensions and measurement datums.
- Identify sealing or other interfaces needing finished dimensions.
- Define the required supplied condition and inspection records.
Specify machining and surface treatment
Machining can be included where required, and surface treatment follows customer demand. Distinguish the cast form from the connection and contact surfaces that need further work. Mark masking boundaries and state the final surface acceptance relevant to the component’s assembly and intended service.
Scope approval documents and packing
ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS are qualification or conformity references; identify the applicable documents and supplier or component scope. Agree the inspection and any service-specific tests required for the ordered design. Carton or wooden-box packing is named, with protection for finished connections and component identification to be included in the enquiry.
