Product description

Custom zinc- or aluminum-alloy component enquiries include selected die casting, sand casting or lost-wax investment-casting requests. Identify the actual part and complete material designation. The manufacturing route and required supplied condition should follow the component’s geometry and intended use.

Choose the alloy around the working requirement

Provide the complete grade, governing document and material condition needed by the design. Show how the component mounts, locates or contacts adjoining parts. State operating conditions relevant to material selection and the actual acceptance criteria imposed on the chosen item.

Define precision through the finished interfaces

Mark datums and dimensional limits governing assembly and operation. Distinguish the general cast form from interfaces needing a particular final condition or additional work. Specify measurement conditions and any relationships requiring joint assessment for the selected supplied state.

Set the material and surface approval task

Identify the material, dimensional and appearance records required for acceptance. Mark working and visible areas with their final-surface requirements. Explain what a reference sample or initial component must demonstrate about geometry, material or the supplied result.

  • Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
  • Identify the selected casting route for each item.
  • Define cast-state and finished-interface boundaries.
  • Retain approved alloy and geometry changes with the drawing.

Keep those requirements attached to the actual zinc or aluminum component so production approval follows its design and required delivered condition.
