Foundry custom machinery-part enquiries cover aluminum, magnesium and zinc alloy components, with stainless steel, brass and copper as further material choices. Die casting and sand casting routes must be selected for the actual alloy and design. OEM and ODM work follows customer requirements for dimensions and supplied condition.

Define the component before selecting operations

Explain the part's function and its relationship to the surrounding machine. Provide the complete material designation and controlled drawing revision. Show mating features, locating surfaces and dimensional relationships that determine installation. Keep each metal option connected to its own compatible route and acceptance requirements.

Specify machining and surface work

The process includes casting, machining when needed and surface treatment. Mark features requiring further work and the dimensional limits they must meet. Available finishes include painting, powder coating and sandblasting where suitable. Identify the relevant surfaces and distinguish appearance criteria from functional-interface requirements.

Build the order and inspection brief

STP files are accepted, with tolerances following the customer drawing. ISO 9001:2008 is the quality reference; establish the applicable document scope for the order. Packing can follow customer-specific requirements, including protection needed for the finished geometry and surface.

  • State the selected metal, casting route and quantity.
  • Define inspection coverage and initial approval criteria.
  • Identify material, dimensional or application records needed for acceptance.

Where the component is revised, explain changes to its alloy, interfaces or finish before confirming the new specification. Keep repeat production enquiries tied to the same drawing and agreed supplied condition for the actual machinery part.
